History

Night of Jade was formed in 2003 by 15 women who saw the opportunity to become involved in a grass-roots effort that would potentially change the lives of families in their community who had been devastated financially with the diagnoses of pediatric cancer. These women were committed to their community in Nashville, their faith, and becoming a part of something that would have a lasting vital impact. Night of Jade has been successful due to the hard work and caring spirit of these women year after year.

Since the inception, Night of Jade has contributed over $655,000 to the Jade E. Pasley Patient and Family Assistance Fund at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee. Night of Jade was formed, and currently remains, solely sustained by volunteers.
